Frequently Asked Questions
Is the only difference between the 16"x18" and the 12"x18" versions how low they extend below the built in piano music rack?
Yes, the only difference in the two sizes is the length of the stand. The 12"x18" is used primarily on small digital pianos and console pianos. The 16"x18" is for grand pianos.
What does the Grand Stand attach to?
The Grand Stand hangs on the piano's music rack. View the video below of the young girl demonstrating how easy it is to put in place.
Will the Grand Stand attach to a closed grand piano?
As long as the piano's music stand is in the upright position, the Grand Stand can remain in place. Otherwise, it easily lifts off the piano's music stand to be stored in another location.
HOW TO ATTACH YOUR GRAND STAND TO THE PIANO
Your Grand Stand comes with padded blocks of wood that rest on top of the piano's music rack. Watch the video to see how easy it is to attach it to the piano rack.
THE PURPOSE OF THE MUSIC STAFF?
Using a wipe-off marker at the piano or away from it, piano teachers, students, and music composers can write music notation directly on the stand and then wipe it off when finished. The white background makes it easier to see the music staff and notation. The music staff with the white background is standard, but for the Grand Piano there is the option for a white or clear background.
